This is the demo from my band, The Machete Massacre, in which I play the bass.

Bio Formed in 2008, The Machete Massacre consists of 5 friends who go to bandpractice every weekend in a tiny basement somwhere in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Mick takes care of the vocals, most of the time grunting his way through a song. During Faces Of Death you can hear a scream that lasts an impressive 30 seconds.
Thomas can be heared pig squealing and screaming, while playing guitar. Plus he's responsible for all the solo's. In fact, Thomas wrote every song in it's entirety, except for Hanging From The Gallows.
Kick plays the rythm guitar, no solo's for him. He just wants to blasts his way through and headbang.
Robin, pretty much the same thing. He has 2 solo spots during the intro of "Faces of Death" and "Hanging From The Gallows", in which he creates a drum 'n' bass like intro with Remco.
Remco, amazing drummer who has great improv abilities during practice. If you really want to see everything he has to give, check him out live...for he can give amazing drum solo's
They've developed a sound that is a mixture between death/hardcore/grind-ish riffs, and most notably are their crushing breakdowns.
No ballads for these guys, only freight trains trying to crush everything that stands in their way.
In a short period of time, they've managed to build up a reputation as a crushing "live band".
Therefore the songs that have been recorded, are the ones which are responsible for the most mayhem at their gigs.

Faces Of Death:
Short said..fuck the military. This song is all about the fact that we think all those bastards in the army just want to shoot everyones brains out as they do in their videogames. At a certain point the soldiers realise it's not just fun and games, while they see the guts of their friends laying all around them. (To rebuild and defend, don't you fucking pretend. Just in it for guts and glory.)
Kingdom Of Sin:
This song is about a certain "being" that has no idea of his own existence. The only way for "it" to survive is killing other people, in the hope "it" one day will find it's true self and can escape it's scorching hell. (The origin of my life still unknown. I'll severe your head from the neck. I roam freely i have no home. To see your guts spread.)
Hanging From The Gallows:
Title track. People getting killed for not following the rules of their government. (Mesmerizing shadows, of lifeless bodies hanging from the gallows. Reminders of shitty rules that you must follow.)
The Path (Of Idiocrisy):
This is a typical "Fuck religion" song. People blindly following and obeying their "religious masters", not able to see what kinda impact that has on the
entire world. Spreading their word of "love" while killing everyone who doesn't believe. (Everywhere you look there's the face of hypocrisy. All who believe walk the path of idiocrisy. Religion is raping our democracy.)
